Pinewood Cafe - Houston

My review of Pinewood Cafe in Hermann Park about 500 meters outside the Houston Zoo. At first, it looks deceptively closed when nobody sits outside, but tried the door. Secondly, they have really good food and, above all, have their own grilled cheese, which is so much more than a grilled cheese. It is a custom sandwich that happens to be served warm, so it is beautiful and enjoyed. I got falafel as my protein with feta and provolone on sweet sourdough and my vegetables were tomatoes, cucumbers, clantro, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. It was so good. Third, they serve craft beer and Katz coffee! And finally, the situation cannot be beaten. It is the best place in the house especially on a wonderful day as today. What I expected: simple hot dogs, greasy chips and crispy well drinks. What I got: made healthy to order hot delicious food and craft beer / quality coffee. Two thumbs up!

I think the ambience and the food are excellent. I would recommend to every friend to visit and experience the difference. Try it special menu. It is also quite comfortable.

Lovable! Great attention and beautiful landscape. We went for the Easter breakfast and everything was nice and furnished, the breakfast was not raised, but it was good. And the service was very pleasant. We didn't know there was a restaurant so closed to the park. We're definitely going back.
