I stopped on my way back to Georgetown from an astros game. A friend told me to get her burger. Burger? At a BBQ joint? Anyway, I have a Burger and Pommes to go. It was one of the best I ever had! The spiced pommes were terribly addicted, so I'm glad I don't live nearby! The burger was HUGE and delicious. The cashier who took my order was friendly and accommodating and the order was ready quickly. I definitely go bac... View all feedback.

Here's a picture of the 6 dollar Brisket taco and egg. The eggs are not completely boiled, very watery. The tacos I got were cold. I saw them warm up in a microwave. Worst breakfast taco I ever had. Who likes this breakfast tacos? And they needed about a minute to answer me on the drive-thru speaker. I think they hoped I'd go. I don't know how this place is still in business. I owe the managers. We stayed next door to Pappas BBQ so we ate there even though the hotel front desk staff member said it wasn't the best. Maybe my standards are lower given we have pretty terrible BBQ options in Colorado, but I thought it was great. The meat, sides, and dessert were all quite tasty.
I have been to this location several times. I brought my New York family here for a taste of Texas barbecue; they were pleased. The last time I visited Service was quick, though they were out of the cream corn which I love. I got brisket string beans and a Texas rice. I must say the person cutting the brisket must not be trained in properly cutting meat. He cut with the grain instead of against the grain which made for hard chewing. I noticed someone else mentioning that in these reviews. Please see to it that that is taken care of, otherwise decent for the price. I do love their string beans, which are blanched, not overly cooked.
Ordered the beef trio. The beef ribs were dry, hard and not edible. The cook left the membrane on the back side. Brisket was mostly fat and flavorless. The sausage was good as were the sides. The service was good and I feel for those people. The cook is giving Texas BBQ a bad name. I'd be ashamed to say I own this place.
