What User doesn't like about Nundini Chef's Table:
We, a group of 20 with a reservation, had a bad experience here. It took a long time (2.5 hours) to get our order of mediocre food. We ordered the carnivore pizza and there wasn't much more than one piece of each of the meats listed on the menu. Several in the group had pasta dishes, some with pretty small servings. The infrequent wait staff was polite/friendly but the kitchen evidently was having trouble getting foo... View all feedback.
Our dining experience was marked by lengthy waiting times and confusion. From the moment we placed our order to the time the food arrived at our table, we endured a wait of fifty-two minutes. The extended delay caused considerable confusion, and despite our inquiries about ordering something quick like soup to satiate our hunger, we were assured that our order was next up. Consequently, we waited an additional twenty-five minutes before our food arrived. To make matters worse, the food was served at room temperature, forcing us to send it back to the kitchen for reheating.Once the temperature of the dishes was improved, we found the taste to be subpar, with the exception of the risotto which was the only dish that met our expectations. When we sought a discount to compensate for the inconveniences we faced, we were informed that the owner had left for the evening and the executive chef would argue in return and makes matter worse.Sorry, Giompaolo Nundini, while I sympathize with the challenges of finding good staff in today's world, I am unable to justify spending my money in an establishment where dining becomes a test of patience.p.s. customers who don’t want valet in their cars due to hygiene should be accommodated to park their own car reasonably.
Restaurant food is sadly not very good. It's a real shame because the atmosphere here is very charming the space has tremendous potential. I ordered the carbonara here once and the guanciale was barely cooked, the fat chunks still raw and unrendered. And it's always a major ordeal trying to get service at the deli. Why it takes them so long every time to figure out how to ring me up for sliced meats is perplexing. It's never a quick in and out errand, and because of that, I will start ordering my meats in bulk online and freezing what I don't use. Such a shame as I'd rather support a local business but it's just not worth it for me anymore to deal with this place to get my Guido goodies...
RACIST Italian CHEF AND WORKERS. My family and I came here and sat down. The chef looked at us and ask DOES ANYONE SPEAK ENGLISH?! .... (like sure we speak many different languages what do you want us to speak?)He does not know how to communicate to a diverse group. Our group had filipinos, 1 white, and puerto ricans.I would never recommend this restaurant after the service we received. The establishment are not professional. The food was comparable to a fast food restaurant.Find a more reputable and high class restaurant. I 'm shocked I did not look at their reviews first before heading here with my family and friends. You can read that their food and service are garbage.
This place is rando AF, like you blink and you drive right passed it. I've always wondered what it was and finally found out a few weeks ago. Apparently Houston gets their gelato from them and the food is so good. Huge selection of wine. Great bar. Cute lil deli. The staff is quirky and a loves it!!
Ordered a safe choice on the menu at lunch time. Pasta with tomato sauce and some vegetables. It is called Fusilli San Marino. I was happy with the pasta. It was al dente, and had a flavorful tomato sauce and savory mushrooms and some artichoke quarters hidden in the middle. I had the bruschetta appetizer as well. My favorite was definitely the pasta. Would order it again. Filling. Perhaps I didn't need an appetizer. The restaurant was quiet, tuesday at lunch. There are wines from different regions of Italy for sale along with ice cream and meats and cheeses (sandwich shop).Portions are generous.
