Ciel has an amazing vibe! Unlike anywhere in Houston. Some are some of the restaurant with shows in vegas. It's dinner with entertainment that comes to your table. View all feedback.
What Warren Emard doesn't like about Ciel:
The sushi, cocktails and ambiance were fabulous, but the entree selection left a bit to be desired. The wait staff was not super knowledgeable about the menu and the automatic gratuity was a turn off View all feedback.
I truly enjoyed my experience at CIEL. My girls and I went on a Wednesday night because its “Jadore Wednesdays” which is their ladies night. The highlight of it is that ladies get a complimentary glass of champagne. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with great energy. VERY BUSY PLACE. Its alot going on, but in a good way. Plenty of staff. Performances about every 30 mins from dancing to singing to lights sparklers. We had a few options for food and loved it all. Sushi, oysters, the rock shrimp truffle fries. Our favorite were the Wagyu Sliders. Drinks were bomb! We had Brut for the free champagne. Then we had the Mademoiselle the shot was the C’est La Vie (Say-Lah-Vee) which was with the fire show. It tasted like Hypnotic which was really good. Definitely a place for like a ladies night, friend group, or if it is a date night, don’t go looking for an intimate setting, this is definitely a fun and exciting experience. Staff was fun and had great energy. Would definitely go back, special occasions forsure. 10/10 would recommend to go at least once for the experience.
Highly unorganized. There was a small crowd of ppl in the entry way waiting to be seated. The hostesses were running around and appeared to be stressed out. After waiting 20min for our reserved table we were seated. There’s a time limit on the table so I ordered apps and entrees right way. Mango chili oyster-delicious. Chicken karaage disgusting. Literally took one bite and sent it back- terrible. Sea bass was cooked perfectly but had zero flavor. The menu states miso and Kombu dashi. I tasted none of those flavors. Ribeye cooked medium well- bland and so chewyyyyyy omg. Crispy Brussels sprouts- they were breaded and fried…. Why? And again zero seasoning and last but not least cavitappi and smoked cheddar which it their “elevated”version of Mac and cheese- dry and zero seasoning. I can’t believe the food was so bad. We left and ate elsewhere. The food sucks -ppl clearly are not going there to eat, it’s just another nightclub in disguise. AND some guys standing near us kept resting there drinks on our table while my boyfriend and I were eating dinner! I know this is not the restaurants fault, however these are the type of patrons they have. One of them was wearing a hoodie and jeans, clearly not dress code according to the website, but somehow he got in AND felt entitled enough to rest his drinks on our table with zero apology when we asked him to move. And they continue to do this several times after! I just had the waiter throw their drink away. One last thing on the reservation I noted it was my boyfriends birthday they gave him zero acknowledgment. The dining experience was so bad, we really did not care anyways. Just adding that in my review just in case someone is looking to celebrate their bday here.

I loved the experience, the edamame, Rockn shrimp, Seabass, Mac cheese was delicious!!! If you’re looking to have conversation over dinner this is NOT the place. Went on a Friday! I’ll definitely be back!!
