**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
This restaurant has long been a local favorite, particularly for its renowned crab legs and authentic Louisiana dishes. However, recent visits reveal significant inconsistencies. While some diners rave about the gumbo and shrimp po'boys, others express dissatisfaction over service and food quality. Reports of rude management and miscommunication regarding orders tarnish the overall experience. Additionally, issues such as unusual food odors and cleanliness concerns have raised eyebrows. Despite these setbacks, there are still patrons who praise the food quality and attentive service from certain staff members, hinting at the potential for a comeback if improvements are made.

This place serves the best gumbo, and I'm a big fan of their fried rice as well. The quality of service can vary by location, but the staff is generally friendly. The food is consistently delicious.
A big fly crawled from out of my husband 's salad. The cashier(young Asian male) behind counter, could have careless. He took the tray holding the salad and continued on with his duties. Aside from yelling at someone in the kitchen. So unclean andunprofessional. Businesses are hurtin due to the pandemic. So any type of customer transactions should be highly appreciated.NOW! I see why New Spot Eatery! ,is getting all of their business, that is located across the street from them. An apologygoes a long way.
I went to this restaurant to try their shrimp po' boy combo, but I was disappointed to find that there were very few shrimp, and they looked old and unappetizing. I reached out to Nathan for help, and he suggested that I return the sandwich for a replacement. However, since it was already after 8 PM and I live in Katy, TX, going back the next day wasn’t really feasible. I began to worry that I might have received a returned sandwich from someone else. Additionally, the receipt stated a no-refund policy, which left me feeling trapped with my order. I would advise others to be cautious with this establishment—it's probably best to avoid it!
The étouffée was too spicy for my liking, but I really enjoyed the gumbo, red beans and rice, and po' boy. I was taken aback to find bacon in the red beans and rice; a disclaimer about that would be useful, as I expected them to be meat-free. Additionally, on two separate occasions, I noticed hair on my bag and container, which was quite off-putting. While the service was quick, the overall customer service could use some improvement. At the drive-thru, the staff member and I ended up just staring at each other for a moment before he finally opened the window to take my order.
Sure! Here’s a rewritten version of the restaurant review in English: "I have to say, I’m not sure about the other reviews, but that shrimp po'boy took me right back to my home in Louisiana! I was a bit hesitant at first because of what I had read, but I was pleasantly surprised after my first bite! I had intended to save half for later, but I ended up devouring the whole thing! I will definitely be returning because, wow, it was absolutely perfect!"
