good place to meet people. the bus stop is also named with the name when this socket shows that they are here for some time the quality of service is good and fast. beer served is good and hot. the Thai food we ordered was a wonderful discovery the cold oil served well, but it lacked the oil component. the chilis have been too perfected and oh yes helps out the sweat. The Bell Hounslow The oldest pub in Central Hounslow, with a real large church bell as its sign. The pub is huge but sadly has no real ales in at present, though the barmaid who served me seemed to think bottled Dppm Bar is one, and I was thirsty enough to settle for that. This pub is definitely more catered towards locals. I sat at the bar and waited a long time to be served, even though it didn't look like anyone else was waiting. The staff seemed uninterested and lacking in effort, giving off a lazy vibe. The atmosphere attracted a similarly lackluster crowd. The pub had four unnecessary TV screens, two showing horse racing and two showing motorcycle GP, neither of which seemed to interest anyone. The only positive was that the pint of Stella Artois I ordered tasted fresh and clean. Overall, not a place I would want to stay for more than one drink.
The door staff at this restaurant are not very good. They asked for identification from my grandfather, even though he is clearly over 18 years old. It would be impossible for three generations to exist if he were underage.
After having to prove my age to the bouncer (I’m 79) the bar staff kept me waiting 20 minutes to serve me a pint of IPA that tasted of vinegar with the consistency of phlegm. I can only assume they took exception to my chirpy “never say potatoes” attitude.
Very poor. Aggressive confrontational door staff. Flat bee in a dirty glass. Food contained hair. Unidentified smell. Smashed glass entrance should have known.
The staff and management are very rude drunk on the premises whilst on duty and very abusive towards customers I will not be returning to this place again and I strongly recommend no one else does unless attitude improves rapidly
