Family run business Danny is absolutely fantastic great customer service willing to help listen and explain every dish totally honest. Mimmo was Phenomenal service as second to none from him simply the best. This restaurant has been here for 35 years plus. Pietro was a gem too. The food was the best I have ever had and I go to many restaurants. Not sure about the below reviews but honestly highly recommend speak to Danny and Mimmo they are SImply the Best! You can feel the home made italian feel brilliant.

No surprises this family business has been going strong while the competition has been closing. The portions are ideally sized, the complementary bread and olives were NOT charged for (unlike myriad other less quality chains) and the service was attentive to any requests we had. Had a lovely family evening meal (I went for the burrata and pizza, while my parents went for Bruschetta and Canneloni Calamari and Lasagne respectively) and all were served piping hot and with a healthy dose of flavourful ragu sauce. Thoroughly recommended for any occasion, especially family ones. 5*

The regular menu is wide and varied, although some reviews have said that the menu hasn 't changed for ages there is always a good specials board and they have recently added a particular dessert to the main menu because so many people enjoy it. It 's pretty typically Italian in that servings of vegetables with main meals are small but you can always add a side dish. People have mentioned that they could not get a table although the restaurant was not full. We were there on one such occasion and the place filled up fast at 7. It isn 't unusual for them to have to turn people away and booking in the evening is recommended as it is in very many popular eating places. Personally we prefer to be there at lunchtime as it is quieter and the menu is identical. We tend to have family celebrations here now, large tables are available and all our relatives love the food.

While the staff remains the same, the quality of service has deteriorated. They were never the most friendly to begin with, but it has now reached an all-time low. They were only attentive when the bill arrived. The soup was okay, but there was a mix-up with the steaks and the side dishes arrived lukewarm. Additionally, one of the desserts was served very late. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
