6/10 londoners have an seemingly endless ability to entertain American restaurants, and such a thematic derivative is the jackson rye chain. the second filiale in soho has found in a very charming stretch of chiswick high road foot; on Saturday evening she is full of hard-to-skinned parents and her screaming offspring. How beautiful the themes is (taupe banketttas, holzlatten, scheckerboard flooring) there is not much in the way of padding to absorb all the infantile wake up. ah, the suburbs. the service is cheerful and the children are quickly plagued, and so to the more serious business of eating. a node on soul food is inevitable, and both...read more

I had a great experience visiting Jackson Rye's first restaurant on Wardour Street in Soho, so when I heard they opened a second location in Chiswick (replacing the previous Jamie Oliver pizza restaurant), I was excited to check it out. Unfortunately, getting to Chiswick can be a bit of a hassle. On a warm evening, my party decided to sit outside, which was nice but somewhat uncomfortable for people-watching. We soon regretted our decision as it took 30 minutes for a server to even take our drink order - there seemed to be a lack of organization among the staff. Before we finally received our bottle of wine, we were mistakenly given another table's bill, further highlighting the lack of communication among the staff.

This restaurant makes you feel like a welcomed guest in someone's home. The service is exceptional, truly top-notch! The staff is warm, attentive, and polite. When a dish was served late, before we even had a chance to mention it, they came over and explained the delay. To top it off, they ended up comping the dish for us.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant and will definitely be returning with my friends. The beef served here is top-notch and incredibly delicious. I absolutely loved my rib-eye steak, it was bursting with flavor. The food was also prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Visiting this place on the occasion of my birthday, i would say it was disappointing. The place has been opened recently and was serving trial menu since a while. Coming to service, it is slow and inattentive. Our drinks arrived fifteen minutes post dinner while specifically asked to be served before the meal.
