This has to be the best ' Hole in the wall ' Mexican food in all of Hot Springs. Having moved from Omaha and in South Omaha there 's a little Mexico. I 've had some of the best Mexican there(NOT, I repeat NOT TEX-MEX) food that is unique. This place actually reminds me of what I miss in Omaha...real Mexican. Everything I ever ordered has always been consistent in quality and freshness. Price 's are the best in Hot Springs and you probably won 't find a better place to eat real Mexican. They also have a very large selection of Mexican snacks and ice cream. Try them out and I swear you 'll love this place as much as my family and I do.

This is not tex-mex which is what I think Jeff the reviewer behind was expecting. This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food and at the best prices I've seen in the state. Very few items above $5 and the portions are insane for what you're paying. They do bring the food from the food truck in the back but I don't understand how that detracts from the quality of the food. This restaurant is underrated.
Traveling through AR for work and came across a review of the tacqueria in a local 'happenings ' publication in Little Rock. Absolutely great, coming from someone that has lived off of Mexican food in the desert SW for the last 40 years. I 'd have to drive five or six hours from Colorado to find anything comparable to this. Tacos are small but perfect, burritos are huge, everything is cheap, and the homemade salsas are exquisite (y picante). Wish they were a thousand miles closer to me.
Great! The real deal! No need to eat anywhere else for this type of food! Very clean! Awesome young lady running the front! Cannot wait to return and try everything on the menu!
