I have to be honest: I was served a pizza that was completely burnt. I was informed that this is their style, but it’s definitely not to my taste. On a positive note, the atmosphere was fantastic, and I even ran into an old friend. My wife had a wonderful time, which was my main goal. View all feedback.
We were walking around looking for a place to watch the football game, we peeked our head in and asked the bartender if they had the game and he said yes. So we got to watch the game but we were also extremely pleasantly surprised by the beer selection. We had the two-hearted ale IPA which is considered one of the best. We were then very surprised at how good the food was especially the deep dish pizza. The service, the music, the beer, was fantastic.
Best bar in Hot Springs! Very funky, eclectic atmosphere. Great shows almost every night of the week. Their deep dish pizza is the best I've ever tasted! Look up the history of this place. It's definitely a must if you are visiting.
Great funky dive like bar with good selection of spirits. The bartender was very knowledgeable about cocktails, and introduced us to a new gin. It was a slow Sunday night, which was okay because we had more time to talk with the mixologist. They were already decked out in Halloween fine with us.

Honestly, what is not to love Maxine's? I know it sounds crazy, but this bar is one of the reasons we bought a place in Hot Springs. Great mood of Mäzen, decent food, waiting staff is fabulous and reminds us of The Elbow Room (old East Dallas), RIP. So much is going on.
