What Amy Slusher Sutton doesn't like about Luna Bella:
We went here for our anniversary dinner. We got the rack of lamb, the chicken pasta fortuna, and the fried risotto as an appetizer. The food was decent but the seasoning was ?off?. The mashed potatoes and the lamb dish were very bland. The pasta dish was almost too seasoned with salt. Seriously amazing service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere! Super welcoming from walking in to checking out. I think we found our date night restaurant!
From start to finish it was PERFECTION!!! They bring bread with a wonderful Garlic Butter and we had a glass of wine. We had Shrimp and Grits and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The shrimp were stuffed with Crabmeat stuffing and had the BEST Brussels Sprouts I’ve ever eaten. For dessert Oreo Cannoli and Key Lime Cheesecake. This restaurant is THE REAL THING!!!
Delicious food, reasonably priced and great service
We just love the food but our last waitress was awful. I believe her name was Brittany. Probably won’t go back.
They’ve got almost anything to be a great restaurant: great service, great atmosphere, great bar, but the most important aspect, their food, is lacking someone in the kitchen is going wild with the sugar salt. Their French onion soup was somehow both overly salty and sweet, overwhelming a decent soup base. Even the steak bites were somehow sweet! We ordered two different pasta dishes: the penne alla vodka the shrimp fettuccine. One tasting like a crazy canned tomato sauce someone dumped a cup of sugar into and the other being saltier than the sea. I don’t feel it was even remotely worth paying well over $100 for one cocktail, two entries, a soup an appetizer when the only good thing was the alcohol.
