this is one of our favourite places to go. the food is always delicious and filling, and you can tell the ingredients are quality. i have since eaten outdoors which was nice too, and we could take our dog. We called in for a drink but the gentleman behind the bar was not welcoming cnd our dogs were not allowed inside, we will not be returning as found very friendly pubs nearby which were so much nicer. View all feedback.
Over priced. Limited beers. The only person with a smile was the young man behind the bar. Not dog friendly at all. Won't be going back

Highly recommended the baked camembert starter and the ribs. never quite make it to dessert! only downside last time was understaffed so a long wait and our coffee was forgotten but that’s never happened prior so obviously just a blip and we were offered a complimentary dessert which was a very nice gesture and the staff were all very friendly and polite despite being clearly stretched. Will 100% return!
I recently visited this restaurant for a Sunday roast. The pub and service were both great, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food. For the price of £19.95, I expected more than just two slices of chewy beef and three roast potatoes. Additionally, I was surprised to be charged an extra £5 for a small plate of cauliflower cheese. Overall, I did not feel like I got good value for my money and would not recommend this place.

We decided to have a family Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The menu looked good, but unfortunately, the food was just average. It was lacking in flavor and didn't seem worth the price. The pub itself was nice and well-maintained, but the dining experience fell short of our expectations. It had the potential to be much better.
