Ragtime Cafe - Hoover

Grilled Mahi was excellent. The Greek salad looked good but the pure vinegar dressing made it inedible. The baked potatoes were good but fruit we ordered and paid for never arrived. Service was not what we expected. We were told this restaurant was excellent. We will try again and maybe we’ll have a different experience next time.

Consistently good food and service, every time we come we always say why don't we come here more often? Get the Shrimp Ragtime app, and ask for an extra roll because, trust me, you're gonna want to sop up the remaining sauce when you finish the shrimp. If you like flavor and extra calories in your starchy sides, then go for the twice baked potato as your side, you might ask for another one after your 1st bite. Also, bring a long sleeve shirt cause they love them some cold A/C.

This could be a date night location, while I enjoyed my dinner my wife didn’t so much. I think she was just being kind to go out for dinner because I wanted to go out. I think she will like it the next time we go. The food is consistent. Good atmosphere to just have polite conversations.

Our waitress was okay, had better service at the bar. Food is excellent. Had Asian Chicken Salad, friends had burger, shrimp, cheese bread and some kind of dip. Don't have frozen drinks but as always the Jameson was good.

Great amazing food.. server was amazing and attentive enjoyed the wide variety of choices to eat from wings to steak to quiche
