What Kimberly K likes about Young's Fish Market:
If you're looking to enjoy traditional Hawaiian cuisine, then this is the place to visit. The Kalua pig, lomi salmon, and pipi kaula are worth the drive, even when I'm commuting from the North Shore! The haupia is the best way to end the meal. It's smooth, coconuty, creamy, and oh so yummy! View all feedback. What Jennifer Gee doesn't like about Young's Fish Market:
Their chicken long rice was a disappointment because the broth and chicken did not have a good flavor. The haupia has very little coconut flavor and tasted more like gelatin. View all feedback.

Amazing food. But expensive. If you want to, come here. Char Siu ribs are amazing here!
I was looking for a local spice salt and that was the only place I found. Please support local business. We've lost too many!

read moreYoung's Fishmarket offers traditional Hawaiian cuisine that is loved by locals and visitors alike. Despite some inconsistencies with dishes like poke and chicken long rice, the restaurant is known for its standout items like Kalua pig, lomi salmon, and pipi kaula. The laulau and poi are highly recommended, and the atmosphere is described as down to earth and authentic. While the seating is minimal and the decor may be a bit worn, the food and service provide a true taste of Hawaiian soul food. Although they may run out of popular items towards the end of the day, a visit to Young's Fishmarket promises a hearty and satisfying meal that captures the essence of Hawaiian flavors.
