What CostaB doesn't like about Vintage Cave Club:
I was highly displeased with this restaurant. Initially, it was extremely difficult to find, as my party and I spent 20 minutes wandering around the parking lot in search of the entrance. One of our servers was outstanding, but the other seemed to be new and was quite nervous and hesistant when describing our meals. My absolute favorite! My husband and I will come here on the most special of occasions. The ambiance makes us feel like we are in another dimension.
Who would have thought, fine dining in the basement of the Ala Moana mall? They HIGHLY recommend you use their preferred cab company Listen.
Wings was raw and ****, ribs was all fat and service was terrible.
We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible.
The ribs were not done enough in our opinion. Weren't fall off the bone quality. Flavor is good, just not cooked like I like.
