We arrived on time after confirming our reserv... read more The Shor is no longer in operation and has now been rebranded as The Buffet, which offers Korean Kalbi-style BBQ. We arrived on time after confirming our reservation online, only to discover that The Buffet did not have our reservation. We were told we could wait for a seat at the bar, as there were no tables available for two hours. We decided to dine somewhere else, as there are plenty of options in Waikiki.

We were quite disappointed to arrive after a 12-hour flight only to find that it had closed down. The restaurant that is currently there was unhelpful and did not make an effort to accommodate us.

Found out right before we left to go to the restaurant when checking on the menu on-line that they got rid of dinners at Shor starting the week before Father's Day without notifying us. Called up the restaurant and this man said that they had transferred all the reservations to a different restaurant at the hotel but somehow could not find our reservation. He was not willing to honor our reservation saying that other people had reservations and they cannot accommodate us despite losing our reservation. Whoever we talked to was rude and made it sound like everything was our fault. We had to scramble for last minute reservation at some other restaurant last minute. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant but will definitely not go here or other restaurants at this hotel anymore.
