Located on the 3rd floor at Hyatt Regency Waikiki, SHOR offers iconic sunrise and sunset views of Waikiki Beach, brought to you by Chef Joe Almoguera. Enjoy our elevated dining options that utilize ingredients from local farmers and vendors for the highest quality at this open-air venue. Our breakfast buffet includes omelet and waffle stations, fresh sliced fruit, and an oatmeal bar. If it wasn’t for our server Ryan and the beautiful sunset and music, this would have been a 1 star review. We booked this dinner we’ll in advance for NYE. One week before we were told the regular menu would not be offered and a gourmet buffet would be served. It was too late to find a replacement reservation. The food was OK but the cost of 149 per person was outrageous for what was served. The shrimp still had shells on them and the fish was over cooked. I can’t say enough good things about our server. He saved the evening.

We were so saddened to hear that they don’t have the buffet here anymore! But they’ve made up for it with the new menu! Restaurant has indoor-outdoor style seating. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool breezes. Jimmy was our server and he was outstanding-personable, knowledgeable and pleasant. Food was amazing.

The Shor is no longer in operation and has now been rebranded as The Buffet, which offers Korean Kalbi-style BBQ. We arrived on time after confirming our reservation online, only to discover that The Buffet did not have our reservation. We were told we could wait for a seat at the bar, as there were no tables available for two hours. We decided to dine somewhere else, as there are plenty of options in Waikiki.
