Amazing restaurant and experience, highly recommended if you can get a reservation. Imaginative cuisine made immaculate, each dish spot related to taste and balance. The bar was courteous and able to take off reefs on classic island cocktails, and happy helped the alcohol-free splashes a bit sweeter to our tween children palate. Certainly the best meal we had on Oahu and asked our children to go back... View all feedback.
WOW. This is the only word I could think of when I eat the incredible dishes in this restaurant. The food here is on another level. Although some of the dishes I wanted to try were sold out, the dishes I had ordered were so delicious. Didn't have such a culinary experience since I was in Italy. A must if on Oahu. Just spectacular. 11/10
Great fine dining atmosphere. At this time they do not make their standard tasting menu due to COVID, but offer products a la carte. The good: ahi Tuna cigars, duck and foie gras terrine with excellent crusty sourdough, carburized broccoli side, and the green soursop chiffon dessert. The meh: beignets, lions mane mushrooms, butternut squash agnolotti, scallops, and the salmon. The topic in all these dishes was excessive sweetness. Admittedly, the ingredients naturally add sweetness to these dishes, but unfortunately it felt overwhelming. The addition of other ingredients (e.g. cranberries with Agnolotti and Fenchel with the scallops) simply did not work and departed from the main focus. Ironically, the mango coconut cake was not sweet enough and lack of taste. The Soursop Dessert has definitely been executed. Presentation was stellar.
Had the most amazing birthday dinner at senia! The food was outstanding. Our favorites were the salmon (to share), the scallops and the house roll. But everything we ordered was delicious. I only have one complaint: they use plastic straws for their drinks. For a nice place like this and given how bad they are for the environment, that seemed quite surprising.
This restaurant blew me away with their amazing dishes. The food here is exceptional and truly stands out. Even though a few dishes were sold out, the ones I did try were delicious. It reminded me of the dining experience I had in Italy. I highly recommend trying this place if you're on Oahu. Absolutely fantastic. 11/10.
Easy Five stars all around. Beautifully executed food, with truly outstanding plating. Solid cocktails with attentive service was a total highlight and truly elevates the food scene in HNL. Influences of Per Se and French Laundry can be felt, but what makes this restaurant glow is the Hawaiian aloha. The wait staff was professional and helpful but also relaxed and approachable. We were expecting some pretentiousness but were surprised and happy how inviting and relaxed it was. Thoughtful interior design with repetitions of soft curves and monochromatic tones accentuates a open concept kitchen which sets up nicely for a Chefs Table. Finally after spending a month here on multiple islands it was nice to see a truly international menu. Many restaurants we’ve gone to have strong Pan Asian flavors and have become one dimensional. Senia still brings Island sensibility and flavors to the menu but expands nicely into French and Italian influences. We will be back!
