We had the most time tonight. From the second we felt so special. I almost cried when I saw that they printed our own menus that said happy anniversary! We made the Prix Fixe menu and everything we had was absolutely perfect. The wine pairings were also amazing and our server was very well informed about everything he served. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in Honolulu you need to come here!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rijo:
When we arrived in the afternoon, it felt like there was almost nothing left at the buffet. We had to wait for the salad and the miso soup, and no sushi was replenished. However, what we did eat was delicious, and the service was excellent. View all feedback.
Christmas dinner buffet sounded amazing on the website. Reality was a huge disappointment. Decor was non existent, food was displayed in unattractive warmers, selection and service were extremely underwhelming for the $60 per person price! The highlight was the sashimi . Super fresh and the cuts were generous. The rest of the food was meh .

The food was great but when we arrived for our reservation, no one was at the front to greet us. Being that we made the reservation so that we'd be seated at a specific time as we were on a limited time for lunch. It was disappointing so it already set a somber mood when we sat for lunch.
The food was fantastic but not many people in the very large dining room on a Wednesday night probably because the restaurant is fairly new.
