I absolutely adore this restaurant! The Kalua Pork Loco Moco is my go-to dish. It has quickly become my preferred lunch spot, conveniently located in Shirokiya near my workplace. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive. View all feedback.
What Kelsey S doesn't like about Piggy's Place:
The food at this restaurant was decent, but I was disappointed by the management. We decided to participate in the gacha shop magic fair, where it was advertised that $1 equals 1 point, but we were actually upcharged by 30% when we placed our order. We wanted to try Hawaiian kalua pork without all the fanfare (and cost) of a luau, and heard that Piggy's was good. Although it was a bit challenging to find, it was definitely worth the effort. Piggy's is one of many stands in the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk, a large food court located in the basement and first floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. I'm not sure if it's officially part of the shopping center, as there is a separate entrance on the first floor that overlooks the parking lot near the grocery store. It may seem a little inconvenient to find, but once inside, you'll notice a predominantly Japanese crowd, a fantastic Japanese pen/stationary store along one wall, and live entertainment most nights. It's hard to put into words, but definitely worth a visit. We eventually found Piggy's after asking for directions. Overall, our experience was great.
I have heard many people recommend this restaurant to me.

In my opinion, Piggy's Place has turned the Japanese village walk into an expensive cafeteria.
