Pho Nam - Honolulu

Ordered Thai tea and BBQ pork and spring roll Vermicelli. Fast and pleasant service and food came faster than expected. Everything was pleasant.

The best Vietnamese restaurant I found in Hawaii. I go to many Vietnamese restaurants, and this place is a cut over the rest. The summer rolls have the perfect ratio of shrimp, salad and noodles, and the peanut dimmer sauce has a touch of spices. All right! The beef pho has a very clean tasting broth, and the vegetables are fresh. The pig over rice noodles is my favorite dish, with a sweet, brownish and slightly spicy sauce. The pig is grilled for perfection. The staff is really friendly and polite. Very recommended.

I usually do not charge 5 stars unless it is exceptionally better than others of the same kind. This place is clean and well ventilated. The Pho I ordered was amazingly good, with good amount of meat and noodles and the price is reasonable. The waitress was nice. Sitting on Sunday afternoon and it wasn't full.

We went in during lunch, so it was pretty crowded. Very good broth and rice noodles for the Pho, but you don't get much chicken compared to other places. Spicy Squid with lemongrass was very good. Squid was very tender. It comes with salad that made the plate a little healthier. I go back to the lemongrass chicken cold rice noodle as it was very good in my last visit.

A convenient walk for businesses near by. Parking is available as well, either on the street or in the parking structure. Food is very good. The pho, spring rolls, and Thai fried rice are delicious. The service is fast. The restaurant fills up quickly during lunch. It has earned repeat business.
