Pho 97 - Honolulu
Pho 97
Description
Pho 97 is a total mom and pop spot serving up big portions of average quality pho with tons of produce. While the pho itself may not be noteworthy, it comes with a generous amount of basil, sprouts, and peppers. The spring rolls and salad are also packed with plenty of lettuce and mint. Despite some mixed reviews on the pho, the staff at Pho 97 is consistently praised for being very friendly. One solo traveler even found the noodle soup to be amazing, with perfect taste. Service is quick and friendly, with the dining room noted as clean and cool, although a bit overcrowded with tables. Visitors can expect yummy pho and shrimp summer rolls, good social distancing measures, and fairly quiet dining experience. For many, Pho 97 has been hailed as the best spot for pho on the island, with rich, fragrant broth and well-formed noodles. The portions are massive, and the overall dining experience is enjoyable, with the staff being super friendly and efficient. For those looking for a local spot with amazing pho in North America, Pho 97 in Chinatown comes highly recommended.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. We had a veg/ tofu and a shrimp Pho- the best I've ever had and the portions were huge. The spring rolls and combination banh mi sandwich were also amazing. The only thing that would put the banh mi over the top is a touch of pickled carrot. I'm nursing a cold and have a long flight tomorrow and I think the pho broth has me feeling better already We ordered via uber eats and at times the packaging, temperature and texture of the food can be hit and miss with delivery- but they also did a perfect job in that regard.
Reaaallyyy good pho. Staff were super nice. I don’t know what else to say other than that they have really good food.
Love eating pho at Pho 97. Unfortunately, I only eat pho at this place. The service is excellent.
Unbelievably delicious broth, and one of the best Banh mi sandwiches I have had. Huge recommend.
Local spot, when you go inside you can tell everyone that are dining are locals. Their pho is one of the best pho I’ve had so far in North America. Only thing was the menu said the pho has tendons but we didn’t see any in our bowl. I’d recommend this spot if you’re at Chinatown!
