Pancakes Waffles Kalihi - Honolulu

Good place for breakfast. There with my wife and daughter for an unofficial Yelp event. Had a lot of Yelp Elite and enjoyed entertainment to eat history and hearing about other great places. Had the Fried Rice Special and was not disappointed. Service was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

First, I went in to pick up my order which I ordered French toast, bacon and eggs got home and realized it was a waffle bacon and eggs went back to return it and asked for the order I came in for and when I got home to check it they only cooked one part of the French toast they didn't flip it over and cook the other part so it was soggy and it was soaked with raw egg. Someone did it on purpose being a **** they must not like their job. Hope they get fired.I usually like to place, but sometimes they be cutting corners

If you're looking for a casual place for breakfast with large portions, this is your place. What's great about Pancakes Waffles is the online ordering. You can skip the lines and reduce your wait time by ordering online, then enjoying your meal in their dining room. The food is not outstanding, but it's convenient and they do give large potions. The staff is friendly too.

Love the honey butter chicken and waffles here. The workers here are also very attentive, helpful and accommodating. The tables, utensils and environment is very clean and they are constantly sanitizing, something that I greatly appreciate, especially during these COVID times. Although not pictured, the biscuits and gravy is fluffy, savory and very filling! However, as I mentioned above, I can't come here without eating the honey butter chicken and waffles. The honey butter is a perfect mixture of salty and sweet. The chicken is always crispy too! I would recommend getting the waffle on the side, so that it doesn't get soggy and stays crispy! This is my go to brunch location!

I ate at this location once and I don't remember much so it was probably not that good. I do remember ordering waffles and strawberry, but I didn't get to finish it. I want to give this place another try, but for now I'm making my own pancakes at home. I would say their service is okay. They tend to get busy and sometimes forget to be courteous, but it happens. I'll come back this review after I give it another try.
