The food tasted really good. I’d say that the portions are small. I ordered a chickpea frittata breakfast sandwich and my partner ordered the mac nut pesto avocado toast.The juice doesn’t come fresh squeezed in a glass as pictured, it comes in a bottle not freshly squeezed.It’s pricey for what you get.
We stopped for a quick lunch here between a visit to Pearl Harbor and a parasailing trip the vibe was super friendly, ambience airy and organic and the food was great we got the spicy tofu salad and a roasted vegetable sandwich with their organic fresh pressed juices glow and dragon both of which were refreshing, so much more on the menu to explore!
Although some reviews mention that the prices are high, I feel that the quality of the food and ingredients makes it worthwhile. I’m happy to pay a bit extra for nutritious and tasty dishes. The staff were also very friendly, creating a wonderful overall experience.
The food at Olena Cafe was so flavorful it moved me to tears! Their entire menu is vegan, featuring plenty of gluten-free choices, and they’re happy to customize dishes to be gluten-free as well. I highly suggest trying the milk latte, Hawaiian latte, stay cool juice, and mac nut toast—they’re all absolutely fantastic! The cafe’s charming aesthetic, complete with little CBD joint jars and gluten-free vegan pastries, adds to the experience. Overall, Olena Cafe stands out as one of the top five spots in Waikiki for those seeking delicious gluten-free and dairy-free options.
