Was User at Me -b-que a mag?
My partner and I had just arrived in Honolulu and were craving some hot, delicious food right away. A quick search led me to this restaurant, and based on the reviews, I had a good feeling about it. I wasn't disappointed—the meat dish I ordered was spectacular, and my partner's barbecued chicken was equally tasty. Walked over for a later carryout meal. Decided to order 2 different boxes to go. Ordered the fish jun and also the noodle soup dish. The fish jun box was a smaller portions than anticipated as it seems they reduced the amount of sides to chose since 2022. You are only allowed 2 vegetable sides. Incredible Korean cuisine! This was definitely one of the best meals we had during our time in Oahu. It's a simple little eatery with just a few outdoor tables, but the food is fantastic. The portions are generous, and there's a wonderful variety to choose from. We tried dishes #15 and #38, both of which were loaded with meat and came with delicious sides. I highly recommend this place!

Wow! This little gem is a hidden treasure just a short stroll from the main strip in Waikiki. The portion sizes are HUGE! It's definitely a place you should visit if you're in the mood for simple, hearty food.

The galbi BBQ (#1) is absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and easy to eat, unlike many other places where I've had Korean BBQ ribs that tend to be chewy. You get to choose four side dishes; I opted for the potatoes, kimchi, japchae, and macaroni salad, and they were all just average. The real highlight of the meal was definitely the meat. I've already recommended Me's BBQ to a few friends, and they loved it as well! Just a heads up: cash payments are encouraged, as there is a processing fee for card payments.
