Komala Curry House - Honolulu

If you are in the mood for some great Indian Curry in Eile and in downtown Honolulu area, you need to check this place. The food is just amazing. So fresh and full of aromas. Don't worry if you're not a fan of hot food, they have mild curries to choose. Also being Indian food, there are many vegetarian options for those who live on a herbal diet. For me it must have meat and be sharp. I stabbed on the Pepper Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala. Wow, both were up with big spices and preparation. The yellow rice was a nice compliment for the curries, but if you want brown rice they also have. You have a few other articles, then complete curry or make your meal and I really enjoyed my homemade ginger lemonade that I wash the spices with. Really was perfect to clean the palate after such a taste extravaganza. If you need to repair your Indian curry, I really recommend this place.

As in takeout Indian, this is a go-to place since my 90s years when I was in tourist industry. Only drawback is that the parking is not readily available and in--front illegal street parking is at your own risk. The parking lot behind HT is 20 per hour.

My wife and I enjoyed a regular box lunch here. The food was delicious, and as vegetarians, we had five great options to choose from. There are small boutique seating areas outside if you prefer to dine in, or you can take your meal to go. Parking is available on the street or in the garage located between Bishop and the hotel.

Wow! Everything was so delicious! I was looking for vegan options for lunch, and I tried the Chana Masala, which came with delightful lentil balls and a side of yellow rice. The family running the place is really lovely, and their vegan options are outstanding! I highly recommend it!

When I lived in Honolulu and worked downtown, this was my go-to place for delicious Indian food. I absolutely love their vegetable korma! It’s not too spicy and provides a generous portion that keeps me satisfied for the rest of the day. It brings back some fond memories!
