I saw they... read more I'm not even sure how I stumbled upon this place but I'm glad I did. I was looking for some cheap eats because inflation has been hurting my wallet. I saw they were selling breakfast plates around $8 and I was sold. I called in my order on a Saturday morning and was told it would take 10-15 minutes. The only downside to this place is that there's zero parking. Luckily, my boyfriend was able to drop me off. If I was driving by myself, I'm not sure where I would've parked. We ordered the garlic chicken special which comes with fried rice, 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon along with the deluxe breakfast B. First of all, the portions are HUGE. I wasn't able to finish my deluxe breakfast and my boyfriend didn't even look like he made a dent into his garlic chicken special. They gave so much fried rice and it's packed with stuff like char sit, fish cake, etc. As for the garlic chicken, it was one of the best garlic chickens I ever had. Both of us had leftovers for the next morning. This truly is a hidden gem, tucked away in Kalihi. Street Parki... read more 1st time going to K &K Kitchen and it did NOT disappoint. It 's located on School street next to Golden Nails and across the street from Helena 's. Street Parking in front of the business and there are about 3 stalls in the driveway next to it. Good idea to call in your order so you don 't need to wait outside in the hot sun like Nadine c mentioned in her awesome review. Take Out Only! Order at the window and patiently wait for your food. OMG we ordered the Garlic Chicken plate with 2 eggs,fried rice and 2 bacon for $10 and the plate was SO HEAVY I had to weigh it when I got home and holy cow it was 2 lb 12 ounces!?! It was delicious and enough for 2-3 meals for me or a huge lunch for a local construction bruddah ; . The fried rice has lup cheong and char siu pieces and was tasty especially covered in the garlicky sweet sauce from the chicken. The garlic chicken! I love that it 's deep fried and boneless! Definitely can compete against the other well known garlic chicken joints. Great hole in the wall, large portions and yummy garlic chicken worth it!

Not even close. Had no garlic flavor or taste.Parking: Very hard finding parking.
