They're perfectly chewy freshly made. The Dan Dan sauce has so many ingredients and different flavors, with spicy level customizable on a scale of 1-10. The cold cucumber appetizer complemented the spice of the dan dan well. I had a bite of the sour chicken noodles, which was not very sour to me at all, but very delicious. The potstickers were also very good. We came with a large group on a Saturday night. If there are enough people in your party, you can reserve the whole place for a private karaoke party for a couple more hours after the restaurant closes. Byob too!As a true mom and pop restaurant, with everything hand-crafted to order in a tiny kitchen, our food did take a while to come out. Not everyone gets their food at the same time, but don't wait to eat because your noodles will get soggy! The blanket noodles came out last, a lot later than everything else. My friends noted that this is always the case with the blanket noodles, so come with a smaller group or when it's not peak time to avoid the wait.Can't wait to come back and try more dishes, including the ice cream!

I would gi... read more I have been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years, and it consistently impresses me. The food is excellent, and it’s definitely worth the money. I would give it a five-star rating! I come here at least once a week, and I absolutely love the soup; it's one of my favorites on the entire island.

Cucumber s... read more THE BEST NOODLES ON O'AHU!!!I look forward to coming here and eating these delicious homemade noodles. We have tried lots of things! Potsticker, yum! Cucumber salad, yum! Blanket noodles, yum! Bamboo salad, yum! But the dan dan noodle for me is my favorite thing. There's so much yummy goodness in here, it is absolutely wonderful. It's clean inside. There is parking in front. Away from the heart of Waikiki, we are always able to be seated immediately. Lulu is so nice, it's like a friend cooking for you with love. Simply the best.

If I went back I probably would do spice level 5.The serving is a good size for the price.Here is the one thingSince the serving size is good I would probably half the Noodles with someone and then order a side gyoza. That would be just enough for me and it would change up the flavor with every bite.Would I go again?Yes!Looking forward to being back.

Everything is so fresh and homemade, even the ice cream! I got blanket noodles with extra vegetables, husband got Dan Dan noodles, one kid got spam noodles, and the other kid got the macaroni and cheese with spam, we all got ice cream (all three flavors between us), and all of it was just perfection. The sweetest lady and gentlemen run everything and cook, and a great playlist of music, too. I was singing along the whole time since we were the last ones there. Truly a wonderful place, and we will 100% be back to support them!
