The presentation and taste of every dish was exceptional. The lobster Mac and cheese was particularly outstanding. The staff was both professional and welcoming.
The experience at Hoku’s is truly unique to this restaurant alone. The open air kitchen allows you to witness and smell everything that is being prepared. Upon entering, Chef Johnny Phan and his kitchen staff warmly greet you, making you feel special from the moment you step through the large doors of Hoku’s. The staff is friendly, kind, and incredibly welcoming. Every detail is carefully attended to, ensuring that every visit is memorable. We opted for the three course meal, and the timing of each dish was perfectly paced. There was no rush to finish quickly or slow down if you were a fast eater. The chef would personally interact with guests and relay messages to the kitchen staff. Despite the busy kitchen, there was a calm and cohesive ambiance in the dining room. The food was outstanding and did not disappoint. The portions were generous and the flavors were exceptional. The crispy tako with shishito peppers and the perfectly cooked scallops were highlights of the meal. The dessert of crème brûlée with a coconut cookie was a delightful way to end the meal. The attentive wait staff ensured that every need was met and no detail was overlooked. Thank you to Hoku’s for providing a dining experience that we will always remember, and for making my sister feel special on her birthday.
I highly recommend the lobster risotto! Better than Gordon Ramsey hells kitchen. I loved the service and complimentary bread and spread. Drinks are fabulous. Great views Free self parking and valet service with validation. Salmon dinner entree was great too. I'm not a fan of pre fix menus bc too much food for me. They do have Ala cart menu. Desserts too.
