Golden Duck - Honolulu

The Health Department closed down Golden Duck Restaurant on South King Street due to violations discovered during a routine inspection on Wednesday.

The food at this longstanding restaurant in Honolulu is excellent and offered at a great price. It is a local favorite spot to order from with great value pricing. The dinner plate specials allow you to choose from 3 local favorites. The fried rice with char siu pork is particularly outstanding! Be sure to try it and enjoy! The meals are fantastic!

I highly recommend trying the Pork Water Crest at this restaurant. The vegetable was very crunchy and enjoyable to taste, although it could have had a slightly stronger flavor. I also enjoyed the Beef Broccoli dish.

The roast duck and cold ginger onion chicken are excellent, the duck is tender and moist, as well as the cold chicken. Also tried the won ton mien soup o o ono!!!

Great food and friendly staff. We have never gone there and didn't like what we got. We must have tried most of the menu. Boneless minute chicken cake noodle is delicious. All vegetables with the black mushrooms is great. Their service is fast and great.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable dishes.
