Gina's Special. FULFILLING for less than $10!!! 3 scoops rice, 4 choice of veggies, 2 pcs kalbi, 2 pcs chicken, and several other things for 8.95... man that enought to feed two ppl! Their service is excellent. After you eat that, you might wanna go to Fun Factory to burn off that food!
A good mean. This place was good. lots of locals, with several people being called by name upon entering the store, indicating serious loyalty....a good sign. I got the spicy chicken. Sauce was great, but chicken was just OK, sorta tough. Kinche was good, seeweed and other sides were also nicely flavored without being overdone. all for under $10! Nice end to a nice day of kayaking.
Great food, great prices. The plate lunch comes with three scoops of rice and a choice of FOUR vegetables. The entrees are good and the prices are reasonable. Two people can share a plate lunch or you can have the left overs the next day. The vegetable selection is excellent: kim che, cabbage, long rice, potato, radish, sprouts, watercress and seaweed. This is a great chance to try Korean barbeque at a great price. My favorite is the Mondoo and Bulgogi. Chicken Katsu (fired breaded chicken breast) is also very popular.
Really good Korean bbq, for sure. We got a family combo pack so we had a little bit of everything. Their kal bi was delicious, ugh, that's my favorite part of Korean bbq. Their jun was kinda... i dunno, nothing there really. Normally that would be servedwith sauces and lots of different banchan, but it wasn't. Their banchan selection is pretty limited whiche as unfortunate. Butthe main staples for good korean bbq were all presnt at Ginas. I had this place recommended by a local and he was right, i'drecommend it too. My only real suggestion that would have made it 5 stars was if I could hear or understand the folks behindthe counter if I had a question, or if they would just post descriptions somewhere. My wife and kids had never had korean bbq sothey had no idea what anything was. Trying to convey what everything was proved to be difficult without pictures or descriptionsof the menu items to point to and describe or read for ourselves.
