These were the best scallops I had in a few years, amazing taste and great presentation. The asparagus and the potatoes were a great side. If you love scallops, try this dish, it is worth absolutely every penny. We also tried the white fog salmon, which was also very good, although I love scallops, I would choose them over fish every day. View all feedback.
The prices are excessive and not justified, unless you’re simply looking to support their business—though it seems like that just benefits the owners.
The service was friendly, but a bit slow. The seafood we ordered was fresh, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. We tried the ceviche and the chilled seafood platter. While I could give a nod to the freshness, the prices didn’t seem justified by what we received. In fact, I felt I could have prepared similar dishes at home, which I have done before. Overall, the combination of the food, service, and atmosphere didn’t meet my expectations given the cost. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area. I think I’d be willing to give this place another chance and sample some different items from the menu.
I absolutely love this place! You won't find better oysters anywhere else. The staff is fantastic, and the happy hour prices are great! Quincy, Oscar, and Jordan were especially wonderful.
Friendly service. Located in the very popular and lively building complex.Good food and desserts. Small menu options.
Food here is pretty good and decor lives up to its name FISH! I came here for the first time upon the suggestion of my friend. It had been a while since I went to Salt Kakaako...so it was neat to see how much it's grown and the neat indoor/outdoor eatery and bar type places. Fish is no exception. It has an indoor/outdoor feel. Service was good with the employees (waiter/hostess) being helpful. We ordered quite a few items....(1) Lobster Roll with french fries which, I believe, was on special that night; or it could've been the Seafood Roll on the regular menu. I definitely know it was a Lobster Roll though. This was probably the best of all the dishes we tried. (2) The Calamari was pretty good but comparable to other places' calamari. (3) The Ahi Bruschetta was tasty. (4) The Coconut Milk Ceviche which was just okay. The fish that was in it didn't have much flavor. I probably enjoyed the taro and sweet potato chips that was served with it more. (5) The Caesar Salad was just meh. I think it was overpriced for a simple and mediocre Caesar Salad. I numbered them according to what I thought was best to least enjoyable. 2 and 3 pretty much tied for 2nd. Although the food didn't disappoint and the ambiance was nice and comfortable, I'm not sure I would come here again or that it would be a must return.
