I was really looking forward to trying the lobster roll sandwich, but they were out. The other two sandwiches were good. The Chimichurri shrimp sandwich is served on a long roll, which helps to keep the flavors of the Chimichurri sauce stay on the sandwich (thumbs up to that). The shrimp is cooked perfectly. We arrived later in the day during t... read more This was my first experience with a genuine, authentic lobster roll, and it was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever tasted! We arrived later in the day during the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Far Western Region Founders' Day weekend, so they had run out of fries (my sorority sisters really know how to enjoy a good meal!). Our group ordered the jumbo lobster rolls, and two of us opted for the corn chowder, which was simply delightful! We all left feeling satisfied and in need of a nap. My daughter is heading to Honolulu to celebrate her and a friend's 21st birthdays, and I'm treating them to a birthday dinner at Fat Cheeks—oh, how I wish I could be there again! This restaurant is an absolute MUST-VISIT when you're on the island of Oahu; it’s worth the drive from anywhere!

As stated before... read more So we were bumbling around down here and discovered that it is a great area to explore with lots of good food, eclectic shops and architecture. As stated before I am originally from Maine and worked in the Seafood industry, so when I see a lobster ???? Ihave to stop. I also went crazy and did the BLT which is way out of character for me as a purist. However, I was pleasantlysurprised how it came together. The price is high but what one would expect in this area. Sherri had the spicy chicken sandwichand although messy, very good. The service was very friendly and the fries/ lemon tar well done. They even made us fresh ones.Sitting outside was relaxing and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. We also noticed security walking around.We are gonna come back and check out more down here in the future.

The roll was buttery without being greasy and it was filled with the luscious lobster meat. The bread was soft and crispy. I think a side of fries to share would have made itperfect!
