When they did dine-in service there were only a few tables, take out was brisk. They only do take out now. They put a great deal of effort into their offerings, we particularly like their sukiyaki offering and their special bento which has nine different portions which allows you to sample nine different samples- a potpourri of Japanese delights. Do-Ne is a hard working husband and wife team and they are putting out delicious food. You enter through a single lane to a rear parking area. The parking is limited but we have never had a problem because everything is take out. Check them out on Instagram, call in your order and pick it up. The longer lead time you give, the better chance they won't be sold out. Support a great Japanese restaurant that won't break da bank.

My coworkers and I h... read more Imagine a place where you can order any dish and know it's going to be . The rice is sooooooo good and perfectly cooked( Japan Level Good). My coworkers and I have tried everything saba bento, unagi don, hamburger steak, oyster fry, salmon bento, beef tongue, tonkatsu ... etc. They have parking behind the shop and it's close to Ala Moana. Tip: To order you should always call ahead (1:30 or 11 am) and pick up is usually about 1hr later.
