You don't feel like... read more Manoa Marketplace is Charming and away from crowds and so the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf up there is small but has some nice outdoor seating. You don't feel like you're being surrounded by tons of people. I find the coffee that they make to be excellent, far superior to anything Starbucks can do. Besides there's a Safeway right next door so it's terrific you can do your grocery shopping and have a coffee or have a coffee BEFORE your grocery shopping. However when the students are at UH be aware that there may be a lot more crowding at the coffee shop than otherwise.

I have a severe nut allergy and the barista on duty to great care of me by cleaning all the equipment and washing her hands before making my drink. Great place! Arrive early/get dropped off. Parking is a little on the wild side.
