Large overall, except that the garnels were dirty and, while they offer to take them back, they first said that how garnelen are served. later they apologised for the person who cleans the garnels, not to do a real job. I wish they had at least taken a drink in an apological series.
We had our 2021 Christmas dinner here. Services were amazing..: Reservation, Server, Waiting time and taste of meal were 100% excellent. Even the cost for dishes were worth it. We ordered the Sicilian chicken with potatoes, bell peppers, my son devour it...And we ordered the filet mignon and shrimp scampi with linguine noodles...its was so delicious. The filet melts in your mouth. Full flavor noodles and shrimp cooked just right. We are definitely returning to Assagios Bistro again!!
The appetizers are awesome and the pasta is onolicious....definitely must try if you are in the area....parking is kinda hard....but you can find street parking....customer service is awesome and the servers are great ...
This is our go-to restaurant for all of our special occasions. The food is always excellent as is the service. We'll be back!
Obviously underoccupied and undertrained. every worker seemed to hurry to give the place a total unpaved feeling.
Assagio Bistro presents a mixed dining experience that swings between disappointing and delightful. While some patrons lamented dirty glasses and bland dishes, others raved about the freshness of ingredients and standout items like filet mignon and shrimp scampi. The atmosphere, despite proximity to the freeway, offers a surprising charm, with attentive service helping to balance occasional lapses. Diners praised the prompt food service and the appeal of dishes such as seafood alfredo and tiramisu. Overall, Assagio Bistro holds the potential for both commendable meals and frustrating moments, making it a gamble for diners seeking consistency.

Always excellent food and service. Very generous portions! Love the table side Martinis!!
I have been dining at this location since it opened. I'm impressed by the consistently excellent service, cleanliness, menu choices, and all around wonderful place to meet friends. Thank you!
As always we enjoyed our meals and will be going back soon.
The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly, and they prepared the Caesar salad right in front of us. The fettuccine with scallops and snap peas was absolutely delicious! Luckily, we found a few parking spots available.
The water glasses and napkins were dirty. Food is subpar, oily and not tasty. The host/manager a little on the rough side not very friendly. Haha first person to greet you.Expensive compare to similar restaurants for pasta.

Very delicious plate. Had the Jumbo Shirmp and Scallops, small serving. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait.
Our family had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the food was always prepared to perfection and served piping hot. With a group of six adults and three children, we were pleasantly surprised that all the dishes arrived simultaneously. They also seated us promptly. The restaurant was very clean and is an ideal choice for large parties.
Good food as always. A bit expensive when compared with other Italian restaurants. We both felt a little rushed, like the server was trying to just turn the tables.
This is some of the best Italian food I've ever tasted. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!
Good food. Semi rude waiter. Server reached over the partician to grab a customer's plate, but dropped the knife and fork on customer's lap.

The food was excellent, and the service was superb as usual.
Love the food ambiance cozy booths, low lighting superb service. large wine selection
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant for dinner. We ordered the chicken puttanesca to share, and it was outstanding!
My wife ordered calamari strips with vegetable pasta, and I opted for the sausage olio pasta. We also shared a green salad and tiramisu for dessert. We visited for lunch on a weekday, and the restaurant was quite empty. All of our dishes were absolutely delicious, and we really appreciated the complimentary bread and butter, served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. If you're a fan of garlic, I highly recommend trying the crispy fried garlic as a side; it really elevates both the bread and pasta. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Although some reviews mention that the prices are high, I’m not sure where those diners are going that offers better quality for less.
Amazing service, the Caesar salad made at the table was outstanding. Our meals came fast and the portions were generous. Priced well for all you get.

Had dinner at the Ala Moana location with friends. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and got an allergic reaction, (I an NOT allergic to seafood or shellfish. I was covered with hives! Reported to the server and she asked, What do you want me to do? We told her to let the manager know, but the manager was busy. I left my friends to go home immediately and on the way out, I reported to the Host about having an allergic reaction and to call the manager. I was told the manager was busy in the kitchen. You 'd think that a customer having an allergic reaction would be important enough for the manager to come out! I rushed home, took two benadryls and called the manager. Of course the manager was still busy, but he did call me back and indicated that he is also the owner of the restaurant (Thomas Ky . The owner did not apologize and instead kept fighting with me that the shrimp was not bad because they peel it in the morning and at night. He even accused me taking the uneaten half with me. (I took the rest with me in case I wanted to get it tested. Think twice about going to this restaurant because if there 's something wrong with your meal, THE OWNER WON 'T CARE. He 'll fight you instead. There 'll be no apologies and no compensation. Customer service is lacking. There are other restaurants out there that care about their customers. Assagio 's at Ala Moana does not.
Ordered an Old Fashioned but got a bowl of pulverized fruit salad in a glass of ice. Ordered crab cakes, got a greasy mess of slightly underdone glop. Ordered angel hair meat sauce, the sauce was watery and bland. I was surprised too at the service, the staff weren’t very welcoming. When I sat down the only thing the waitress asked is if I wanted anything other than water. Not a hello, not a welcome, no introduction, just “Do you want anything other than water?” What a shame for such a cute little restaurant in an upper scale neighborhood. 0/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We had our Christmas dinner here in 2021, and everything was fantastic. The service, from the reservation process to our server, the waiting time, and the quality of the food was all exceptional. The prices for the dishes were definitely worth it. We ordered the Sicilian chicken with potatoes and bell peppers, which my son absolutely loved. We also had the filet mignon and shrimp scampi with linguine, and it was delicious. The filet practically melted in my mouth, and the noodles and shrimp were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning to Assagio's Bistro!
