A lot of meals on Hawaii can get really... read more When you come here you need to try the oxtail soup and the Pork tonkatsu, both dishes were filled with sooo much flavor. A lot of meals on Hawaii can get really expensive but both of these dishes were at a reasonable price and a very good portion. Overall the restaurant is very mom and pop style so don’t expect any fine dining service. It’s good for a quick bite or casual dinner. 10/10 would recommend!

We particularly enjoyed the opakapaka f... read more We decided to dine in one of the private rooms at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the opakapaka fish plate I ordered, while my family enjoyed the oxtail noodles and ramen. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

The amount charged for the portions given did not seem reasonable. We did not appreciate being scolded for putting in our reservations and showing up shortly thereafter. We were told we needed to put in our reservations hours in advance. Our thought was if you didn't have anything available, it would've shown on Open Table as not available, but instead it showed there was availability. In the end, the food and what they charged was not worth it, nor was the scolding session we received. We felt she could've told us in a more tactful way, but more importantly, if it was an issue for them, they should monitor their Open Table account more timely.
