It was d... read more I didn’t want to escalate the situation, as it was supposed to be a happy celebration with friends who were visiting the restaurant for the first time. It was disappointing. On a positive note, our waitress was great, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience really put a damper on the visit. It’s important for staff to think before they speak, as I've worked in restaurants and understand the importance of good customer service. Ultimately, we were advised to wait in the bar area, which wasn’t ideal.

It’s unfortunate that the hostess didn’t think before speaking. Having worked in restaurants myself, I know that it’s important to treat customers with respect. She suggested that we go to the bar and wait, which added to our frustration.

The food took a long time to arrive, and two of our dishes were cold when they finally got to us. On a positive note, the service was great. Our waiter was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but only on a day with perfect weather! LOL.

I ordered the fish and chips and the slaw with it was damp, season less, and honestly the worst I’ve ever had. My brother and boyfriend ordered the poke nachos, and those tasted like the poke was from a grocery store and had way too much sauce. My boyfriend’s sister ordered the Kalua pork nachos and it was frustrating that we had to pay an additional $2 for jalapeños, which seems like a standard for nachos- right?? Overall I had a decent experience, but I don’t think we’ll be returning unfortunately.

The service was wonderful during both visits with my amazing husband. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. I was pleased with how manager Gabby handled a minor issue we encountered. The wait was worth it, especially considering how busy it was on a Friday night, and everyone treated us with great care (except for Amanda, but I believe she'll improve in time). I highly recommend this restaurant as well as its sister location in Waianae! Cheeeehuuuuu!!

I love the food and drink options, and how it is open air so you can see the whole harbor and feel the breeze. Awesome **** marys, do recommend. Today my friend and I walked down to the water to watch the fish and crabs after brunch.
