Although his wife is the one who actually cooks, we unfortunately did not have the chance to meet her. We started with a taro cake and lettuce wrap appetizer, followed by a laksa noodle soup and a vegetable rice dish for our main courses. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience!

The meals usually consist of 3 courses that leave you feeling full and content. Opal has a playful cooking style, so be prepared for some fun surprises. He is dedicated to his craft and ensuring that all diners have a great time. I wish I could give him 5 stars!

I loved every moment of theexperience. If you aren?t fun or adventurous or into trying new things I don?t recommend but if you want to live a little justgo with the flow and enjoy. The whole experience brought happiness to my night. It?s true the owner will feed you some thingsbut it was fun and really broke the barriers between customer and establishment, i just rolled with the punches and I reallyfelt it made the whole experience more intimate and I felt I made a new friend. The food was also insanely tasty and I don?teven know if I can have Thai food ever again without comparing it to Opal Thai! 10/5 Stars
