The French manager, Mr. Jamal, was outstanding—always attentive and incredibly professional. However, we were very disappointed by another staff member, an Asian man with a bald head. From the moment we arrived, his attitude was unwelcoming and rude. It felt as though he didn’t want to serve customers at all. His behavior was unacceptable and left a negative impression. I’m a bit picky after living in Italy for a year, but the deep-fried seafood and the off-menu pasta were pretty decent. The carbonara was made “the proper way,” without cream, and the pork was crispy. I would’ve added a touch of pasta water to loosen it up a bit, but it was still good, and the pasta wasn’t overcooked.
