My first experience with Nordic food in HK, the service was really courting and the cook patiently declares every dish. The presentation and texture were all perfected. French toast is indeed a must, but I would recommend sharing one between two people because it is quite rich to have a full one. The aromas of all dishes were on the lighter side, which is expected with Nordic cuisine. Very recommended if you are look... View all feedback.
What Bernadette Droz doesn't like about Frantzén's Kitchen – Hong Kong:
Interesting multi course Swedish set with some creative flourishes, excellent staff and Asian ingredients. Crowded space and the craftsmanship doesn't quite hit the 3 star standard of its soon-to-be former namesake. But worth a stop if not the price View all feedback.
A restaurant that deserves to be tried when you earn special dishes from Northern Europe in Hong Kong, but also fine food Small, well maintained restaurant deserves more than a Michael star! I went there several times and tried various things always satisfied! Beautiful wine list, good cook and all staff All staff are welcoming if you want to go, I suggest you book, small well maintained, well cleaned restaurant and impeccable service. I recommend not to miss very nice and warm atmosphere absolutely! Congratulations to all employees!
A unique dining experience as it’s Nordic food. I feel it’s simple but flavory. I don’t like the heaven garden as it has some sands inside? Chicken is very good. One problem is portion is a bit small. Service is very good and desserts are nice. 198 HKD free flow is a bargain.
Perhaps they should reconsider their ability to live up to the Frantzén 's name. Reservations separated into two slots you may only book either 6 or 8 the latter of which no reservations actually turn up. Food: For the price? An insult at best. Perhaps the only restaurant that relies on their soggy truffle toast as the salvation of the restaurant. Or perhaps the mayonnaise (termed in some fancy fictional disguise of a name) on top of their 'blue ' lobster wasn 't enough.... Took some friends while telling them this restaurant is one of the best experiences in Hong Kong only to be let down (or I 'd rather have been put down). Not to mention the staff... eating on duty, tapping guests on the shoulder to get their attention... hitting guests on the way to the kitchen with loaded trays... Unbelievable. No stars if that was even an option. Note: I 've been here back in 2019 it was damn good. It 's sad to see a ship sinking to this level. Perhaps it might sink to meet the salmon that they did a thorough disservice.
Excellent ingredients, impeccable service and delicious plates we had the 4 course and the 3 wine pairing on a Friday night. Air con was a bit cold, but otherwise it was one of the best meals we had in HK for a while.
Small, inconceivable restaurant with great atmosphere, beautiful service and delicious food. We sat on the counter rod and ordered the lunch and wine pair. The staff was friendly and attentive. The truffle French toast was exquisite, and especially when paired with a cup of truffle tea. Very recommended as top until your meal. The food was fresh and it was so nice to watch the team before us their magic!
