Fudge Farm

Fudge Farm
4.3 / 5 (970 reviews)

Description

Fudge Farm, a charming little spot by the waterfront, captivates dessert lovers with its extensive variety of ice cream and milkshakes. While some guests rave about standout flavors like banana pudding and unique creations like the Finn McCool mania, others express disappointment in consistency and certain items, including fudge. Though the service can be hit or miss, the inviting atmosphere and outdoor seating enhance the experience. With a mix of delightful treats and a few missteps, Fudge Farm remains an appealing destination for those with a sweet tooth willing to explore its offerings.

I had plain ice cream, and the quality was poor. The ice cream had a grainy texture with no creaminess to it. It was half melted by the time I took five steps out the door, and had an odd tangy flavor. From what I understand of how ice cream is made, the grainy texture (ice crystals) and rapid melting means a very inexpensive, low fat base has been used and the odd flavor suggests it may be getting mishandled somehow before freezing. This is a great place to stop while shopping at the waterfront. They offer all kinds of different sweets. Everything from ice cream to fudge and also different kinds of chocolates. It all looked very delicious. My family and I got some ice cream. It was very good on a hot day. I highly recommend stopping here for a nice treat. The caramel truffle ice cream is amazing! Good tasting product but the slices are less than 1/4 pound so for $7 a slice it seems that it would be $30 or more per pound!!

Awful service no greeting , no thank you ...didn't acknowledge me until I spoke up as they were about to service someone else who walked in the store . At this point there were only 2 people including myself as a customer. I'm thinking I had to be Caucasian maybe ? to be serviced and greeted properly ? what a let down ! No aloha YOU guys SUCK!
