The portion sizes are... read more We also ordered the ribeye steak with crab legs. The steak was a full 16 oz as advertised and cooked just to the rare side of medium rare. The portion sizes are definitely satisfying for those with a hearty appetite. For dessert, we had the Key Lime pie and Crème Brûlée. The Key Lime pie took the prize! While the Crème Brûlée was delicious, the pie's delightful tartness brought smiles to both our faces. Our server, Tiffany, was excellent and very attentive throughout the meal. We received refills of hot water and iced tea without even having to ask. Her timing was impeccable, and she clearly kept track of our dining experience. Overall, it was a lovely evening.

The menu indicated that the dish included halibut, scallops, and shrimp; however, my dish didn’t have any scallops at all, which was quite disappointing since that was the main reason I ordered it. On the plus side, there was plenty of halibut and about six shrimp. I mentioned my concern to the waitress, but she seemed rather uninterested in addressing it. Unfortunately, the manager didn’t come by to discuss the issue either, so I assume the waitress didn’t relay my feedback to him. On a positive note, I have to commend the manager for stepping in to help his busy team by delivering food to other tables, although ours was not one of them.

While the halibut had a good meatiness to it, it was overcooked and served lukewarm. However, the crab sauce was exceptional, and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. We didn’t have time for dessert since we had booked a hot tub for 9 PM, so we had to rush through our meal. The service was disappointing, but to their credit, the server did comp one of our meals, which made the experience a bit more bearable given the restaurant's upscale pricing. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to return, mainly due to the poor service and only mediocre food.

The first night ther... read more Located at The Lands End Resort at the end of the spit in Homer,AK. Large dining room and a bar, all with views of the water and mountains. The first night there I had elk meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It was very good. Last night there, had the sockeye salmon, and it was fantastic. Service was great. Definitely a bit pricey, but I would recommend it and I would go there again.

There are breathtakin... read more The Chart Room was a delightful experience. The restaurant is part of The Land End resort located at the end of the spit in Homer, Alaska. There are breathtaking views both from the dining room and the outdoor deck. The staff were all attentive and experienced, which was a pleasant surprise. The grilled salmon I ordered was a bit disappointing as it was slightly overcooked. It was very fresh and beautifully presented. I had a taste of rockfish from my generous dining companion's plate, and it was delish! Man, I wish I had ordered that!
