Agra
Description
This popular Indian spot is lauded for friendly, attentive staff, generous portions and a wide, well-loved menu for dine-in or takeaway at reasonable prices. Many dishes earn consistent praise, though experiences vary: some guests report bland or overly vinegary curries, thin naan and occasional fly problems or low dining-room ambiance. BYO is possible but there’s no alcohol licence. Overall a good-value choice for casual dinners and holiday visits, but expect occasional inconsistency in food and atmosphere.

OK so we were on holiday and decided to pop in for a meal. Once seated in a very grumpy dining area we still thought we'd chance it. Flies started buzzing around. Waiter was on the phone to someone and struggling to get a signal. Watched me swatting the flies away. I couldn't eat my meal. It tasted OK but the flies put me off. I'd recommend the owners invest in one of those lights for the flies. It was not pleasant. Such a shame as the portions were good and it tasted OK. Kitchen was probably spotless but sadly I wouldn't return due to the flies....
I’ve been eating curries most of my life! And this is the worst curry ever! Prawn Madras very vinegary or to much lemon juice in it? Lamb Balti was rank!!! Nan garlic bread was wafer thin and onion bhaji where like bullets mint sauce was pink and didn’t taste like mint sauce. Don’t waste your money on this place like we did!!!! For those who rated this place I would advise you to come down to the midlands and try a proper brummie Balti/ curry! Indian restaurant.
