Lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere, great service and delicious and unique cuisine. I got the corn tostada, lamb chops, and the seasonal carrots.
They had several different vegetarian options I wanted to try, but I decided on the chévere gnocchi. It was fantastic. The best gnocchi I?ve had. Others in our party ordered salmon and the salmon belly sandwich and everyone said their food was amazing. Weshared the crème brûlée and the bread pudding for dessert and both were amazing, but I did like the bread pudding just alittle more. The outside seating is amazing. Best if you can find street parking.
Word to the wise: ORDER THE SPECIAL CARROTS NOT ON THE MENU!!!! You will not regret it! Found this hidden gem when looking for outdoor restaurants to visit before going to the Pantages. Family owned restaurant where everything served is extremely freshand flavorful plus it's walking distance to the theater with most of its seating is all outdoors and has a lovely ambiance. Nowto the carrots...I don't know what they do to them but they are fried but somehow come out tasting like sweet potatoes. They arehands down the best carrots I have ever had. I went back a second time and got nervous that I was overselling them to myfriends but nope they agreed. (Pic attached for reference but it doesn't do them justice, just try them.
Service was good, but the food and drink were not. My burgers, even tho I asked well done, was brunt, my sangria was basically sweet water?but it?s a cute place with friendly service.
Nice and low key place on a bustling stretch in the heart of Hollywood. The food was pretty good and decently priced. The burger had a slightly burnt aftertaste though. The short rib was the real star of the show it was juicy and delicious and a hugeportion. They have specials that change regularly, but other than that the menu is a little small. Service was good. Again,we're talking the middle of Hollywood so you will want to make a reservation at peak weekend times. Everyone opts to sit on thecozy patio, not in the small interior space. Parking is tough because it's Hollywood; pray for street parking or find a publicparking structure.
