While some find the food lacking in flavor and authenticity, others rave about the delicious dishes like butter chicken samosas and the Badmash Fried Chicken. The service receives mixed reviews, with some praising the friendliness of the staff and others complaining about slow service. The restaurant's atmosphere is lively, with loud music that may be overpowering for some diners. Overall, Badmaash is a good option for those looking for a modern take on traditional Indian cuisine in a trendy setting.
I recently dined at BAADMASH, my friend's Indian restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance captured the essence of India with its vibrant decor and soothing music, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable meal. The menu featured a diverse range of dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. From the creamy chicken tikka masala to the fragrant biryani, every bite was a culinary delight. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail and commitment to authenticity. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff providing excellent guidance. Desserts like the gulab jamun were the perfect ending to a remarkable feast. In summary, BAADMASH delivered a remarkable gastronomic experience. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to savor its exceptional flavors and welcoming atmosphere.
Friend of mine I were reluctant to try it at first based on the prices. We elected to stay. Food did not disappoint. We began w/ yogurt chickpea balls, followed by butter chicken spicy Indian kebab. Kebab was dynamite. Also had a butter rosemary naan. Though the naan was $6/each, food overall was worth it. Would go back.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic! We began with the Masala potato fries, which were okay, but the Dahi Puri was absolutely amazing! The butter chicken samosa and cheese naan were both delicious, and the butter chicken and South Indian fish curry were incredibly tasty when paired with the rice. For dessert, the kheer was also excellent. I would rate Badmaash an 11/10 - if you're in the mood for Indian cuisine, this is the place to go!
The food was below average. I ordered the Punjabi Chana Masala and Rice and found it to be bland with no flavor. However, our waiter Alex was very friendly and kind. After reading other reviews, I don't think this restaurant is a great choice for vegetarians.
If you want to find a modern Indian curry then Badmaash is the place to be. Coming from London that can be hard to find. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is electric and Chris the server will make your night super special, he’s the friendliest, kindest server in LA and a joy to be around.
