So memorable that... read more About two years ago my fiancé and I visited Holbox for about a week. We had some amazing meals, and Parador 33 was one of the most memorable. So memorable that when we returned in February 2021, with 9 of our favorite foodies, we had to have our last group meal here. After about 10 days of straight Mexican food, it was nice to get something that reminded us a bit of home. It 's a little ironic, since Parador 33 is actually an Italian and Uruguay fusion restaurant, but remind us of home it did none the less. Their wine selection is the best I 've had in Mexico so far. I highly recommend the following dishes: octopus (pulpo) carpaccio, ravioli, lobster, steak, lasagne, empanadas and pizza. I 'm not a huge pasta fan but my friends agreed amongst themselves that it was good but needed a little parmesan. They have cheese on request so just ask if your carbs are lacking dairy. Love this place, will definitely return!

The waitress and manager?/owner? were extremely nice and willing to explain the dishes and give recommendations. They also were excited to present a steak dish that is prepared in a specific way and gets cut right at the table- Bife de lomo a la sal . As a Texan, I 'm snooty about my meat, but I 'm still dreaming about this meal... At the top of our list to eat at when we come back!
