The Brand-Baude is located high above the valley of Poland in the middle of the Sächsische Schweiz National Park. A beautiful hiking trail leads directly there without great differences in height, therefore also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. One stands at a reef edge, enjoys the phenomenal wide view over the table mountains of Saxon Switzerland and enjoys this happiness with a cool blonde. A combination of a restaurant and hostel with a connected national park. The restaurant has a quite large outdoor area with beer table fittings and normal tables and chairs. The parasols are in demand on the south side. For the seat feeling, one takes colored felt cushions from a large root. Above all, the places directly at the viewing edge are almost always occupied. The restaurant was refurbished tastefully some time ago and offers a very nice impression on the inside with light wood, tile oven and plentiful window front. The current menus are on the tables. Some tables with handwritten extras stand around and some dishes are also written over the counter. There are typical hiking food from Bockwurst over sulch with roast potatoes, lentil soup and the like. The most elaborate dish was a roast with claws. Then sweet desserts, cakes, ice cream for the coffee guest. A strong focus on regional producers is clear. The food is ordered at the counter together with the drinks and is also paid for. You get simple things right away. For prepared food you get a number that will be called. The food is then brought to the table. Some beers are offered. Here too regional orientation. The big beer is 0.4 l tall. Tableware and glasses are removed from the service. The waiting time for sluice with roast potatoes was 15 minutes. The view of the plates did not disappoint. The fresh white herb and the remoulad sauce came safely from the wholesale, which is completely okay. The Sülze was good. The roast potatoes are slightly browned with Majoran, good taste. Overall solid. Service: At the counter with order also at Gewusel flott friendly working. Bringing the plates out will work. Only the removal of the dishes, when the guests left, could go faster. Conclusion: Very good in the combination of supervisibility, food, thirst quenching and simplicity. Always like to visit. A classic excursion.

You're always excited about it. the many hiking opportunities around the brand are simply an excursion paradise – from the simple tour to the challenge. the mountain industry also deserves a great praise. The widest variety of food and beverages spoil guests. Everyone finds something. there is often only one problem: “What do I eat or drink?” All foods are very tasty and the selection of drinks spoils visitors to the mountain industry. the personal is always striving to offer all guests a pleasant stay. I've never been disappointed.

Super panoramic view, delicious eating, friendly attentive staff. for a building that does not claim a 5 stars restaurant simply class. we ordered a small meat dish. the name meat was not only decoration, but there was also really what in it. I would like to stress the helpfulness of the chef mr. doro. I had injured my foot ascent and could only come to home among the biggest complaining and therefore ask for the possibility of a taxi. mr. doro immediately told us to get us in polen with his car in our guest house. on our offer to pay the trip, he refused to do so with the words they are released. a beautiful excursion destination also with accommodation that we will use during the next visit. we are looking forward to a sunrise over the Saxon Switzerland that we can experience from here.

We were on the road with the most beautiful winter weather direction brand and wanted to take a hot drink there before returning. the building is very original, was well heated and has a great view. when entering the building, we were not even welcomed by the staff. there was not much going on, about 4 tables were occupied, the guests had already eaten and were delivered. we felt eternity, waited about 20 minutes until the service took up our order of 2 hot chocolates. they came after approx. 10 minutes, they were lukewarm because they were at least. Five minutes were on stage, what we could see. the cup rim of a cup was still dirty from the predecessor. we paid quickly and went back. we were disappointed, because normally it is a nice excursion destination and also the menu promised a good selection of meals. There are probably enough guests, there is no need to give themselves a great deal and service according to the regulations. In gastronomy we expect a little more commitment and ease.
