Some of the curries tasted similar, but were all delicious. I highly recommend the Lammchennai. The beautiful orange chairs and simple decor added to the ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was to our liking. The food was full of flavor and served in good portion sizes. Overall, the restaurant provided a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely return.
Gorgeous food and great service ! Curry was very tasty . Service was good even though the restaurant was busy .
The best Indian Restaurant in Australia! Very similar to those Indians in Uk. We had a wonderful meal with lovely local wines and the staff were so attentive. We had entrees and a chicken tikka marsala heated up and I had a korma we had rice and I had a garlic naan and my husband a plain one. I cannot recommend it more highly
We had matar paneer and karahi chicken. Looks weren’t bad but the taste wasn’t great. Both had too much tomato paste and tasted like tomato paste. Naans looked raw and tasted bad as were undercooked.
The seasoning was good the sauces well balanced and the spice levels as advertised. The wine list is OK but doesn’t seem to match the cuisine very well. But the meat, I would have been unimpressed with the quality of the meat if I got it at a food court, chewy and fatty. This is the only Indian restaurant I have been to in Hobart but I have to imagine you could do better without looking to hard.
Nice sized restaurant. Good spacing between tables. Very good and helpful staff. Nice and as you would expect range of Indian dishes. Food very tasty and well presented. All very enjoyable.
