Monsoon Thai Fusion - Hobart

I was a little disappointed by my meal, I thought I would get a juicy piece of pork belly, but instead everything I got was barbecued pieces pork, oh good! they need to think I wouldn't notice the difference. on a better note my men red curry was delicious.

You don’t have to travel far for a good green curry with Hobart’s plethora of Thai restaurants. Our surging restaurant scene means you also don’t need to go far from your suburb to enjoy a meal out. Which is why I last ate in Battery Point circa 2003. But I love Thai food and I love a good deal. Monsoon Thai Fusion is in the Entertainment Book so Boozy Friday Friend and I booked in.

Customer service poor. Sat for 30 mins before someone took our drinks order (after we went up to counter to order). Staff were stressed, dealing with unhappy customers that booking was mucked up and were turned away. Entrees were good dumplings and satay chicken. Had duck salad and tomyum soup for mains. Hardly any salad mostly duck (which some might prefer). Soup wasn't anything special. We ordered a side of bread that didn't come out until we were leaving!!!Average experience. Disappointed as we had heard good things. Wouldn't go back.

Reallly really enjoyed the green curry and the vegan escape stir fry. the rest was quite decent. I had great hopes for the pad-thai, but that was a break.

Wonderful food. large selection. the personal was friendly and knowledgeable, which I found helpful in making decisions. eating was well presented and served immediately contest for the business of the event.
