Mures Upper Deck, located close to a hotel, promised high-quality seafood but fell short on delivery. Poor service and lack of gluten-free options left a bad impression on diners. The Oysters were average, and the seafood basket was disappointing with thickly coated fish and small scallops. However, Mures Lower Deck had excellent customer service despite the disappointing food quality. Booking issues and unresponsive staff were a let down, but the dishes like fish chowder, steak, and the Lychee blossom cocktail were enjoyable. The restaurant provides well-priced, delicious meals like fish pie and fisherman's basket, leaving diners full and satisfied. Those who enjoyed the seafood Laksa and fish & chips found them delicious, with good service and generous portions. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for its great seafood offerings and value for money.

Was Grant N at Mures Upper Deck a mag?
Had a big day out and needed a meal and a drink. Excellent service and a wide range of choices. Made our selections and got a drink and the food arrived in a decent time. All very good and we decided to do the same again the next night but obtained takeaways. There was a bit of a wait due to the volume of customers. We had crumbed Blue Eye travalley $29 for two tiny pieces lucky to be 70 grams how much money do they want to make fish sells for around $65 Kg retail so come on surly 2 100gm pieces would be better value for the customer Salads were very good but also expensive tiny piece of lemon and tarter sauce was $3 dollars extra per serve $103 dollars for 3 servings (Rip-off) Will be looking elsewhere for our fish in the futur... We have always loved coming to Mures because it has the freshest fish available anywhere and you just know it is going to be genuine. Whenever we have visitors from the mainland or overseas this is definitely the first place we would think of to bring them for a nosh up. Highly recommended and have never had a bad meal ever.

Perfect! Amazing food every time we have visited. We're from New South Wales, and the first time we visited, we stumbled across it. Not being a seafood eater, I was pretty hesitant, but decided to give it a go to keep the other half happy. Oh my goodness. We were back the next night. Second visit to Hobart, we pre-booked for 3 out of our 5 nights. If you're looking for a delicious meal, in a beautiful setting, even if you're not a huge fan of seafood, it's worth giving it a go. I rarely eat seafood, but always look forward to our holidays to Hobart, mainly for Mures Upper Deck

With friends from Brisbane, went to Hobart for a 5-day holiday. Today, we had lunch at Mures (Lower Deck) for our friend's birthday lunch treat. Both the food (reasonable price for sumptuous seafoods) and customer service are amazing. A place you would love to go back. Thanks to Paige boss Judith. Highly commendable.

What a fabulous night at Mures Upper Deck. The team's farewell was fabulous and yes, you managed to embarrass us. The meal that we had (a special tasting of the dishes for the new menu) was AMAZING. Beyond words. Without bias the best meal that we have had in Tasmania! This new direction is going to push Mures Upper Deck, again, into the forefront of dining in Hobart. Eugene Burgo you are a genius! And THANK YOU so much to the whole team for making our night so special (including the after drinks) Gonna miss you!

Good food, decent size, calamari chips and two salads. Tasted great. Nice spot by the water. Plenty of seating
